Belle & Sebastian is a Scottish indie rock band. It was formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Stuart Murdoch and bassist Stuart David. They are a critically acclaimed band that only achieved commercial success in more recent years. They are best known for their second album, If You're Feeling Sinister, which was universally lauded by critics. Other members of the band include vocalist/guitarist Steve Jackson, and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Sarah Martin.
