Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance is the ninth album by Scottish indie group Belle & Sebastian, released on January 19, 2015. It is the first album following the departure of multi-instrumentalist Mick Cooke. It was produced by Ben H. Allen III, producer of albums such as Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion and Centipede Hz. The album features a stylistic shift away from the band's usual baroque pop, incorporating elements of disco, electronica and europop.
