Sung Tongs

Sung Tongs is the fifth album by Animal Collective. After the arduous touring for Here Comes the Indian, both Geologist and Deakin left the group for a short time. In this time, Avey Tare and Panda Bear created this stripped down and folk influenced album. Sung Tongs was the group's first release on Fat Cat Records, and was their first album to get a significant amount of critical attention.

An EP of outtakes featuring folk singer Vashti Bunyan, titled Prospect Hummer was released the following year.
